It is an inescapable fact that aging brings with it physiological changes. Deteriorating vision is one of the most common problems experienced as people age, sometimes due to disease. Routine Eye Care checks will help with preventative care and early diagnoses.

Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy. Presbyopia, Cataracts, and Muscular Degeneration are all age-related vision changes that have great potential for affecting our quality of life as we grow older. Correction or treatment for these and other eye defects may require medical intervention or lifestyle changes.

Seemingly less serious vision issues tend to be ignored but should be addressed regardless of age (Recommended: Schedule an Eye exam at least every 2 years). Take note of

3.      No reading clarity without bright light

6.      Difficulty in identifying the color contrasts

There are good medical interventions to mitigate worsening eyesight. Still, even with medical solutions in place, vision loss goes hand-in-hand with aging, and In-home care may become a necessity.

How can we help?

Our in-home Caregivers will assist when and however needed. Whether you need medication reminders, transport to Doctor’s appointments, pick up your prescriptions or transportation to social events, a private Caregiver will be available to provide the necessary help.

Specific to Eye-care, a caregiver can help in the following ways:

appointment: our caregiver will ensure that you make it to the appointment to get yourself checked by medical experts. The caregiver can drive you there in their car if required.

4.   Daily Activities Management: A caregiver you hire can help you manage the day-to-day tasks that are made difficult because of problems with eyesight. Taking care of prescription glasses, administering eye drops, adjusting television settings or reading lights etc., all help.

6.      Your friend: the in-home caregivers looking for work, or create a job posting to find the best match for you.
